David has a long association with Hospice Waikato having served on the Board for 25 years, 7 of which he was Chairman, where he played an influential role in Hospice’s development.

He continues to support the service today because he believes it is vital service needed in our community.

When the Foundation was formed, David’s 40+years of legal expertise and strong local networks were welcomed along with his excellent understanding and appreciation of the importance of Hospice Waikato and its service in the community.

David is something of an ideas man and is an excellent negotiator. Both strong attributes for assuring the legacies left to Hospice Waikato are used soundly.
